The Anti-bullying Alliance is a coalition of organisations and individuals working together to stop bullying and create safe environments in which children and young people can live, grow, play and learn.  A section of their website is dedicated to resources for schools which we would recommend you take a look through. Anti-Bullying Week 2023: Make A Noise About Bullying

Anti-Bullying Week 2023 is coordinated in England, Wales and Northern Ireland by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. This year it has the theme 'Make A Noise About Bullying' and will take place from Monday 13th to Friday 17th November. The week will be kicked off with Odd Socks Day on Monday 13th November, where adults and children wear odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique.

Bullying UK

Bullying UK is a part of Family Lives, a charity with over three decades of experience helping parents to deal with the changes that are a constant part of family life.  These pages provide a range of resources to help schools with the issue of bullying including advice on developing policies and resources to help plan lessons and activities with pupils

Childline

Childline is a free, private and confidential service to help anyone less than 19 years with any issue they are going through. They are available online, on the phone, anytime.   If you follow this link it will take you directly to their pages with advice about bullying.

Childnet

Childnet are a non-profit organisation working with others to help make the internet a great and safe place for children. They provide free resources for teachers and professionals, young people and parents and carers on issues surrounding bullying, online and personal safety.  They can be used directly by young people and parents, as well as in the classroom within schools and youth organisations.

Enable

ENABLE (European Network Against Bullying in Learning and Leisure Environments) aims to tackle bullying in a holistic way, helping young people exercise their fundamental rights in the home, school, class and community (i.e. peer group). The project aims to develop social and emotional learning skills as a means of building resilience in young people so that they can better understand and become more responsible and effective for their on- and offline social interactions. Free teaching resources are available on the website.

Kidscape

Kidscape is a charity that works to promote the anti-bullying message and shine a spotlight on child protection issues.  They have a range of resources for teachers and professionals, young people and parents and carers o issues surr.

NSPCC

The NSPCC is a national charity aimed at tackling abuse. They provide a range of research, guidance and advice in relation to bullying (including cyber-bullying). They also provide training and advice to professionals.

Public Health England - Better Health Every Mind Matters

PHE offer free resources for a range of mental health areas. Bullying and cyberbullying being one.

UK Safer Internet Centre

UK Safer Internet Centre provides online safety tips, advice and resources to help children and young people stay safe online. They encourage embedding esafety across the curriculum or the work of the organisation, through a framework of effective policies and routes for reporting concerns such as cyberbullying. As well as supporting young people to stay safe online, staff also need to protect their own online reputation, particularly when using social networking sites. They also offer a Monday to Friday (10am-4pm) Professionals Online Safety Helpline for any online safety concerns.
